trade
Trade itself is an art, negotiations the brush with which to paint. Each transaction requires three important parts to be understood by both parties. The first is the value of their own item, the second the value of the opposite parties commodity, and the third is both previous parts in the eyes of the competition. Essentially it requires understanding, both of self and others. Oftentimes fledgling merchants would value their own commodity too highly, an arrogance of sorts, or refuse to understand negotiation, vanity if you will. Strangely, it would be in those moments, where revenue was at stake, that humans truly tried to understand their counterparts. Sadly though, if we removed financial incentives, it would be rare to find the population so tolerant.
